About Ortigas Center
Ortigas Center is the second most important commercial and business district (after Makati) in Metro Manila, Philippines. With an area of at least 100 hectares, the district is located at the boundary of Pasig City, Mandaluyong City, and Quezon City. It is governed by Ortigas Center Association, Inc.
It is home to many shopping malls, skyscrapers, and nightlife bars, restaurants, and also known as one of the BPO hubs. Popular landmarks like SM Megamall (which was the largest mall in the country prior to the completion of the SM Mall of Asia), St Francis Square/BSA Twin Towers, Asian Development Bank, Oakwood Premier, and Shangri-La hotel. Also located in Ortigas is San Miguel Corporation's executive office, Jollibee Foods Corporation, and HSBC-Philippines. Banco de Oro's main office, owned by renowned mall taipan, Henry Sy Sr. is situated at the heart of Ortigas.
