AICOM supports BPA/P in Toronto

Toronto - the Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPA/P) and other delegates from other Philippine-based BPO companies visited the city for one goal- to explore strategic partnerships with local companies by presenting the Philippines’ key growth industries. This two-day event aimed to show Canadian companies the advantages and opportunities in doing business in the Philippines.

Noel Azucena, Managing Director of AICOM Solutions, one of the hosts who welcomed the delegates and guests to dinner as they arrived in Toronto, the night of July 26. The following day, the delegates joined by Canadian companies who have outsourced services in the Philippines held a seminar at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, where they shared testimonials and stories on the quality of Filipino’s services. They also presented about the growing ICT, engineering, call center, back office operations, financial services, pharmaceutical, electronic, procurement, and human resources industries in the country. The second day of the event was allotted for special meetings with the delegates and a tour around the city.

The seminar and the event were co-hosted by the government of Canada through the Canada Philippines Business Council, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and the Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines. Through these supporters and the efforts of the BPA/P, Canada is sure to see the benefits of outsourcing – most especially Philippines as the best offshore destination.
